Well..it has been a week, or half a week. I have not been posting because my son Ben was in the hospital. He was just diagnosed with diabetes on Saturday. he was in ICU for three day, and was released last night. He is doing great! Giving himself his own shots, four times a day, and testing his blood sugar levels. We are learning a new way to eat, and counting carbs. It has been challenging , overwhelming at times, but one day at a time seems to be working well for us. We will go to a educational class on Friday for three hours and learn more. I just wanted to pop in, and tell you what was going on in my little world. I am living life on life terms, and knowing that God has his plan for Ben's life. My mother is flying out tomorrow, that will be a huge comfort..and my Dad is driving up slowly( i hope) from California to be here with us for Christmas. Much love!
