Flowers for Me

I bought myself these roses today. I could not resist! All of the flowers you see in my blog are from my yard..except these..you cannot get these kind of roses in my yard..nope. so I bit the bullet and bought my happy bouquet, for who?? Me! I love South American roses, don't you?
On other news..Ben is sick, but feeling better..Mike is back from his business trip so I can finally sleep . My kiln is broken, will be fixed Friday. I made some really good pumpkin muffins if I say so myself. I ate two already.. I have been knitting up a storm these past few weeks and hoping to list some of my creations on Etsy soon..My 16 year old picked up her needles after three years of it not being very cool. She is knitting a red hat, and has the knitting bug. The kind where you don`t want to sleep and knit until 3 a.m.?? Anyone get that?
Planning on doing some apple arrangements tomorrow for you all..My crab apple tree is loaded. Gotta run to soccer practice.Bye..

Purty roses! :) I bought a dozen of mixed pink and red ones today to put in the guest room for Becky's stay. I love fresh flowers in the house! :) Sami picked up her knitting last night, too! I think it'c the cold weather we are starting to have. :) She's knitting a scarf in "Bob Marley" colors. :)

I have been in such a funk, a Mom from the school died of a brain tumor yesterday. I can't tell you how nice it was to catch up on your past few posts. I am glad you are feeling happier, I must admit your post lifted my spirits too!
Thanks.
Your Pal,
Linda

Love those roses! I wouldn't have been able to resist, either. :)

I can sooooo appreciate that knitting bug...I can't tell you how many nights I have spent wide awake until the wee hours working on my latest obsession - oops, I mean CRAFT. Yeah, that's it...CRAFT.

I love that you bought yourself roses, sometimes we have to do that. And my favorite vase for roses is always a pretty mason jar. Love it.
