I am in love with these cherry stands..
Yesterday Mom and I went for a drive along Flathead Lake to pick up some cherries. My grandparents owned a cherry farm about a mile from here.
This is some kind of processing thingy..It is old. Can you see the lake in the background?
We bought our cherries from these folks.
The bright red ones are pie cherries, or sour cherries. The deep red ones are Vanns.
I have been busy pitting them. I finished with the sour cherries, and on to the vans today. I made two batches of jam, and one pie. More to follow!

Yum! My mouth is watering for the Vanns. You should take a photo of them in some of your beautiful pottery.
