Berries

My first cherry pie. So good, I made another one! I pitted twenty pounds of cherries in the last two days. Two pies and canned about 15 jars of cherry jam. No more pitting for me. Stop me if I get a hair up my sleeve and want to make more pies. Please.
Now raspberries are the low maintenece easy kind fruit. No pitting, no going out in the woods like huckleberries and getting bit by bugs or your legs all scratched up. They grow in your backyard, easy to pick, no leaves when you wash them..These are my kind of berrries! Though we are running up the mountain to do our last huckleberry run..Just cannot get enough I guess.

Your cherry pie looks SO DELISH! YUM! I love cherries and have been eating lots lately. Also love raspberries.

I can't imagine pitting that many cherries!

Have a great day, Julie!

I want some!!! It looks so delish!! You and my mom are just using up all your fruit... I love it. Apricots, cherries, berries etc.. I wish I had some fruit trees. I will just have to get my mom to ship me some of her apricot jam! Enjoy your cherry pie and don't forget to add some ice cream on top! :)
