Have you met my bird? This is Blue the lovebird ..He is a character and loves to lay in the palm of my hand and have his tummy scratched like this..
and loves hanging out with me while i read my friends blogs..has not a clue I am blogging about him today..
He is a sweet little friend, and drives me nuts at times, but i do love him. He is the sweetest. at least i think he is, he could be a girl and i would not even kn0w it. I could pluck a feather out of him and send it to a lab for one hundred dollars and have his DNA tested to see "what " he is, but today i think i will pass and call him a boy bird..
On that birdie note. I have one sicky..we bought a gingerbread house already made and is standing up! don't you hate those ones that are cooked , but not put together? I do. and i could never get the thing to stay up. So today we will decorate it, and it will stand, and not fall like last year.
So that it all!! Have a wonderful day, and try not to get caught up in the craziness pressure cooking holiday that only this holiday can bring on. Because that is what I am trying to do.

So cute! I think Blue is a boy also. ;)
That is the sweetest baby boy. I think he loves the camera. That looks like a smile to me... thanks for sharing him. ~PJ
Blue is adorable!!
Blue is such a cute guy! I bet his little songs are pretty. Hopefully the sickness won't hang around too long. It's a bummer. Knock on wood, no one has gotten sick yet in our house this year. Thank goodness for home school. :)
I added a playlist also today! How Cool! :)
awwww..he's so cute! yep...we had a gingerbread disaster last year. Good idea on the 'already put together' one!! enjoy your weekend:)

Blue is a sweetie!
I had two lovebirds, Mon Petit Shoo (My Little Cabbage) and Baby. Cabbage terrorized Baby so I had to get a 2ng cage. Baby even started laying little eggs!
Hi Julie!!! Ok I just copied and pasted the directions for the mulling sachets from Martha! I have not made these yet but plan to soon... can't wait!!
Here ya go...
They're warmhearted gifts: spice bundles for hot cider. Cut cheesecloth into two 6-inch rounds; layer. In center, place 1/2-inch cinnamon stick, 1 star anise, 2 pods cardamom, 4 black peppercorns, and 1/4 teaspoon cloves. Tie with twine. Set several in tin, and tie with bow and holly sprig. Adhere decorative label.
Attach a note with the following directions: "Place one sachet in mug, fill with hot cider, and steep 3 to 5 minutes."
****The hand warmers... I used rice and that's it! But it is recommended that you use pie weights! But here in my tiny town I couldn't find any. The rice worked great! I used chenille(sp) fabric which was sooo cute too!
Are you doing good?? I hope so! Take care...
Love, Tiffany
wow, I love his peachy color. We once had a lovebird named George. He was rather sneaky and troublesome...he used to whistle at women passing by and get my dad in trouble when he was doing yardwork, haha....
What a beautiful bird... adorable! ENJOY your day and holiday season!

PS: Give him a little scratch on his belly from me and a xx on his head.
He's beautiful - they are definitely more loveable when they are an 'only' bird-We have had several pairs and love them all! If he/she starts doing little bird dances around you, and lays an egg one day - you'll know!!!!
